She always believed she had the fairytale, the one with the charming prince and happily ever after. How many fairytales had I read like hers before ? None. Her prince left abruptly with no explanation, he went riding into the sunset and took the happily ever after with him. She cried for him a whole year only to realise her prince was not really the prince, he was the evil villain. But then surely a fairytale needs to have a prince I hear you say and I agree with you. The real prince came, with love meant only for her, but by then she had stopped believing in happy endings, stopped believing in fairytales. By then she had realised a broken heart can never love as much; can never be as pure and whole. The villain had done the unthinkable: he had ruined her love for the prince. Sure this fairytale is different, the princess is damaged, the prince is too far away and the villain is dangerously near. But that,my dear, still does not stop it from being a fairytale.
She was young, beautiful and intelligent, she had the world at her feet but with every tick of the clock she could feel her life pass her by and she stood there like a silent spectator, she never stepped into her own days, she never took control of her own life. It was either like she had lost something or she was waiting. When someone asked, she would look at them with her eyes full of hope and her smile full of despair and reply, "Love. That is what I've lost and that is what I am waiting for. Love.
-----------------------------------------------------------
He had loved her for so long, all he needed was one chance, one chance to prove to her he could give her everything her heart desired. He would close his eyes and think of the day she would be his, the day he would be able to hold her in his arms and the whole world would disappear. He was prepared to wait though, for her love he was prepared to wait for an eternity. "One day.." Ali thought to himself, "... one day."
--------------------------------------------------------------
Love did not really mean anything to him. He had his heart broken once and ever since then he lived each day on the edge, being reckless and thoughtless because at the end of the day there was no one he had to come back to. He was as far removed from her world as possible and if you asked Girish if he could ever have someone like Natasha in his life, he would look at you with those charming eyes and boyish good looks and say, "You have got to be kidding me. I am not falling in love again. Not if I can help it."
----------------------------------------------------------------
See this is just the beginning. Everyone appreciates the ending but no one really appreciates the beginning. The beginning is the best bit of the whole story, it is when all these people are untarnished, it is when they still have hope because once the story begins one of them will lose it forever...
